Other than frozen fruits and veggies, a lot of frozen items are not always the healthiest. I do love to have a couple of regular items in the freezer for nights I don’t want to cook or need something to take to lunch for work. I’ll keep adding to this as time goes on. Comment below what your freezer staples are.

 1.      Fruit-Trader Joe’s has great prices on various organic and non-organic fruit in the freezer section (as well as the produce section 😊) and I always have mango, peaches, wild blueberries, and strawberries for smoothies.

2.      Trader Joe’s High Protein Veggie patties- Great in lots of meals like tacos and has a great taste.

3.      Trader Joe’s Vegan Tikka Masala- Great flavor for a frozen meal, and so good with TJ’s garlic naan.

4.      Trader Joe’s Chicken-less tenders- These are the best in the air fryer.

5.      Gardein Chicken Sliders- Their chicken strips are good too but the sliders taste like a mini Wendy’s chicken sandwich, which I like.

6.      Bananas- These are different from the prepackaged frozen fruit I get from TJ’s. I like to take a couple of ripe bananas from the bunch I buy, peel, wrap up, and freeze for things like “Nice Cream”.

7.      TJ’s Acai Berry puree packs- Great for making acai bowls and smoothies. I like to make my regular smoothie and add one of these for an extra boast. Top with granola and other goodies and you have a delicious meal.

8.      Vegan chocolate chips- You never know when you need to make vegan baked goods like raspberry chocolate granola bars. I love making baked goods with fresh local fruit throughout the summer.

9.      TJ’s Hashbrown Patties- Great with a quick tofu scramble on the weekends and easy to bake without any extra oil.

10.   Amy’s Meals- They have so many great meals but be mindful of the dairy and eggs. They have several meals that are vegetarian. Their Roasted Veggie Pizza is one of my favorite frozen pizzas and love adding any other roasted veggies I have fresh. The crust is great, and you don’t miss the cheese, I promise. The vegan mac and cheese, and lasagna are also great option for a quick meal.  The breakfast burrito is great too with some added Hatch Green Chile. They also have pizza rolls like you had as a kid, and a huge variety of frozen meals depending on your mood. They have a veggie tamale meal I take to work on a regular basis.

11.   Sweet Earth Brand- Another company with lots of great tasting vegan meals. From burritos and empanadas, to Pad Thai, they have several tasty choices, so you always have a quick vegan meal on hand.

12.   Nature’s Path Chia Plus Waffles-They are harder to find than some of the other flavors, but these are the best. Legit smells like fresh baked cake and tastes as good too.

13.   Ben and Jerry’s- Did you know they have a whole vegan line of some of their traditional flavors? They use coconut and almond milk instead of cow’s milk and they all taste amazing. They make one of my favorites, Cherry Garcia, so it is common for it to find its way into my freezer.

14.   Nada Moo! Ice Cream- Lots of great flavors in this all vegan line, but ‘Mmm, Maple Bacon’ is my favorite one.

15.   Frozen Lemon Juice and Coconut Milk: I freeze these separately in silicone molds to have on hand for meals or desserts like “nice” cream.

16.   Country Potatoes and Mushrooms: This frozen item from Trader Joe’s makes the best quick meal on a weeknight.

17.   Mushroom Medley: Also from TJ’s, I mix this with the country potatoes above to make the perfect meal fast.

18.   Shelled Edamame: Great to have on hand for snacks, salads, spring rolls, and ramen just to name a few ways to eat these.
