Spicy Chili Lime Black Beans with Hatch Green Chile

These beans are filled with spice, but that’s how I like them. I used lots of lime juice to pair with a medley of spices to give these beans a flavor that goes great with any meal or on their own. They take like ten minutes to heat through, are oil free, and are packed with fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals. I love pairing these with tacos because they are the easiest side, but they also make a great main character in bowls, burritos, tacos, nachos, or quesadillas. They can be kept in the fridge in a sealed container for up to a week and are great for weekly meal prep. Feel free to add less of all the seasonings to avoid them being too spicy, but I wouldn’t recommend skipping any spices. They all marry together to make the best flavor profile.

I have been using 505 Southwestern products for years, especially after I moved out of New Mexico. All their products are incredible, but their Hatch green chile is the best on the market and all I cook with. It’s like a little piece of home since it’s hard to find legit green chile outside of the New Mexico area. After countless posts and recipes made with their products, they have asked me to work with them! Can you believe it? Now you can use my code PLANTBASEDLIVIN at checkout for 10% off all your products! If you haven’t had Hatch green chile or red chile, you need to try their products to get that authentic New Mexico flavor and heat. They also have a line of salsas and sauces that make every meal better. I only make my enchiladas with their red and green chile enchilada sauces (aka Christmas if you know what’s up) and like to keep some on hand for impromptu enchiladas midweek. Head to the link here and make sure to use the PLANTBASEDLIVIN code at checkout. I have a taco recipe coming at you next week that is packed with their green chile, so you have time to order your chile before the recipe drops.  They have also had all their products on sale for a while now, which makes your discount even larger!

Not much more to say about these tasty beans. I’ll never be the food blogger that can write pages and pages about every recipe, but I will be the cook that will share bomb recipes so they can continue to see how delish vegan food is. I also love working with brands I believe in so I can share their awesomeness with you. Let me know in the comments below if you have ever used 505 Southwestern and what your go-to recipes are and what products do you use.
